Legspinner Samuel Badree has described Pakistan as a very, very dangerous team which can demolish any opposition. Wholesale Jordans For Sale . West Indies face them in three T20Is from Friday in the UAE and Badree insisted his side waswary of the challenge posed by Sarfraz Ahmed and his men despite the gap in rankings. West Indies, having won the World T20, are at No. 3 and Pakistan are No. 7.On their day, they can demolish any opposition, and we are wary of that challenge, Badree said. We respect every opposition that we come up against, and we are going to do the same against Pakistan. We are going to prepare well, knowing that Pakistan are a very, very dangerous team. The responsibility of living up to that reputation has fallen on a few rookies, and Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur gave them a glowing recommendation. The players we have brought in - Imad Wasim, Babar Azam, Sohail Khan, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Nawaz - they take the game on. They dont fear failure, which is fantastic. They are the guys we want to build this one-day cricket brand around.West Indies, however, would have to find a way to cope without two of their best T20I players. Chris Gayle is injured and Andre Russell withdrew from the tour for personal reasons. Its a different team from the team that won the World T20, Badree said. We have a lot of new guys, a few players who are making their debuts on this tour. A number of our guys have been here before - the likes of [Sunil] Narine, [Dwayne] Bravo, [Kieron] Pollard. So we are looking forward to some very good games of cricket and, of course, wed like to win the series and remain as one of the best T20 teams in the world. One of the newer faces is opening batsman Evin Lewis, who made his maiden first-class, List A and T20I centuries in 2016 and has been named player of the year by the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board. That maiden T20I ton came against India in Florida in which Lewis and Johnson Charles shared a 126-run opening stand to lay the platform for a match-winning total of 245.I said [to myself] that this could be my opportunity to put myself on the world stage and I went out there and played positively and it paid off for me so I was happy about that, Lewis said of the knock. Johno [Johnson Charles] is a pretty attacking batsman like myself so there is less pressure on me. When he scores, it makes it easier for me to score also.A factor that could make this series, which also includes three ODIs and three Tests, compelling could be the mercurial nature of both sides.Pakistan are very similar to us in terms of their consistency - or lack, thereof, Badree said. One day they will give a brilliant performance, just like us, then the next, they leave a lot to be desired.West Indies begin the tour with a warm-up match against Emirates Cricket Board XI on September 20. There is a day-night Test in the schedule as well. Air Jordans Authentic Wholesale . Vettel was 0.168 seconds faster than Red Bull teammate Mark Webber around the Suzuka circuit. Subscribe today!?And for more from the 2016 Body Issue, check out espn.com/bodyissue,?and pick up a copy on newsstands starting July 8.Adeline Gray might be making her Olympics debut in August, but shes far from a rookie: Gray has competed in every world championship since 2011, taking home three gold medals in two different weight classes. Before heading to Rio, she sat down with the Body Issues Morty Ain to talk about wrestling at her natural weight and the message she wants to send to young fans.Womens wrestling is a great sport that a lot of people dont know about. I still get that sideways tilt of the head, like a puppy is looking at me: Women wrestle? Its almost disheartening, because I work very hard and its a very competitive field internationally, and people in our country just dont really know about it.Im a three-time champion and should, in my eyes, be kind of all over the place. But there are still people who are like, I didnt even know you guys were in the Olympics. Yep, we are. Its been a few cycles now.I absolutely hate the statement Youre too pretty to wrestle. I think people used to view female athletes as very butch, masculine -- you kind of had to disregard your femininity to excel at an elite sport. Now its just a different world. With heavyweight wrestling, people are expecting this Helga type of woman, obese and going out there on the mat to try to smash peoples heads. Its so much more than that -- the weight is really low, so its about technique. Its skill, strength, power and executing that in a very precise way. When I talk to young girls, I tell them you can have the best of both worlds. You are allowed to be a female and be considered beautiful and still be an athlete and still be badass in that realm.I would hear, years later, Yeah, that guy was afraid of you in high school. Why? Im nice! I just dont understand where that came from. Its like saying a boxer just goes around hitting people all the time. Ive never been in a fight, Ive never hit anybody. I never challenged anyone at a party. So I dont know why that fear exists: Oh, she can beat me up if she wanted to! Yeah, but ... I dont really fight people.I really dont even consider myself so much of a fighter when I get onto the mat. Im more of a calm person who goes out there and has better technique and better strength and skill than somebody -- theres a lot more strategy that goes into it than people realize. Theres what Id call calculated aggression, but yeah, my immediate reaction if I get too upset or too frustrated with something is to cry. And its not really a good thing to be crying on the wrestling mat.I get the question about MMA a lot. My mom says she likes my nose, so she doesnt really want me to fight! But if the price is right, I can see it happening. I just dont know ... I dont have a killer instinct. Im more like, Oh no! Are you OK? Oh, wait, I have to win, OK, keep going.I think my bond with my father has been whats really made me so successful. My father was the youngest of seven boys. So when he had four daughters, I think it was kind of a shocking moment: What do I do with girls? When I started wrestling, it built this really amazing relationship with my dad. He was my personal coach for the first eight years of my life, and hes been to every one of my world championships, hugging me at the end of each one.I have large lats, so any dress that zips up is definitely a struggle. I was maid of honor for my best friends wedding, and I had to go up about four dress sizes just so I could get it to zip. Then my weightlifting coach kindly put me on a new, very intensive program for upper-back strength, and I gained half an inch on each side of my back. I had to really hold my breath throughout the night, and at the end of the night I busted the dress dancing. The whole side of the dress was just shredded. I wont have to fake like I was ever going to be wearing that dress again!Theres definitely something to be said about wrestling at your natural weight. Im now wrestling a lot closer to my natural weight class, and Im getting to focus more on wrestling and just getting better and making my body stronger, rather than constantly fighting to make my body small enough. Everyone is so focused on losing weight -- your body likes to fit within a certain range, and if you force it to go one way or the other, its difficult.I had to cut almost 30 pounds for the 2012 Olympic team trials. Before the matches, I was eating dinner with my mom and I just stopped and was holding my jaw. She was like, Oh, did you get hit in one of your matches? No, my jaw is sore from not chewing food for the last three weeks before this event. I was just eating protein shakes for every meal. The realization that I hadnt chewed and used those muscles in so long that they would cramp up and get sore halfway through a meal ... it was almost heartbreaking, because why would somebody do that to their body?I can be so stubborn when it comes to rehab. I dislocated my knee in 2010 at a World Cup event, and over the course of rehab, I didnt realize that I was basically dislocating it every day. One day I was driving back to Denver to see my family, and when I went to press on the gas pedal, my kneecap popped out. I had to hold it in place the whole way to Denver -- just cursing my sport and my whole situation the entire time. Its amazing how limited I still am on that side. Eventually, I had surgery, but I had to accept that my leg was never going to be the same leg it was. And I think every athlete goes through that moment when they realize that the arm they broke is never going to be 100 percent but that they can still win with it. I think thats what has made me such a great athlete -- I dont have to be 100 percent, I just have to be good enough to win. Finding that new normal just takes some time and some coping.I dont have cauliflower ear. My dad was adamant that I wear my headgear growing up. Thats because I was born with a dysfunctional eustachian tube, which connects your throat to your ear canal. Most people have a certain degree of tilt, but mine doesnt have enough tilt to drain properly. Ive had 15 ear surgeries, and Im partially deaf on my left side just because I have so much scar tissue buildup.I want to impart some dreams to young girls who havent had opportunities in the past. Boys really have a leg up on us because they have these professional leagues that they can dream about. So if I can be like Serena Williams or like some of these main stars out there who are being iconic and groundbreaking and are role models for this next generation, it would be an honor and a blessing. Howard Ganz, an MLB lawyer, said in a letter to U.S. District Judge Edgardo Ramos that Rodriguezs claims do not come "remotely close" to what is needed to overturn an arbitration decision in federal court. http://www.airmax95canada.com/ . -- Linebacker Myles Jack ran for four touchdowns, defensive end Cassius Marsh caught a scoring pass, and No. AMES, Iowa -- Iowa States Joel Lanning never complained as his hold on the starting quarterback job slowly loosened week after week.Instead, Lanning focused on excelling in the run-based package the coaching staff developed for him -- and last week he had arguably the best rushing performance of any quarterback in the country this season. Lanning, a junior, tied the school record with five rushing TDs in Saturdays stunning 66-10 blowout of Texas Tech .Lanning finished with 171 yards on just 17 carries and became the first Cyclones player to rush for five touchdowns since Heisman finalist Troy Davis in 1996.Lanning, the only FBS quarterback with five TDs on the ground in one game in 2016, will try to help the Cyclones (3-8, 2-6 Big 12) close out 2016 with a win when they host 19th-ranked West Virginia (8-2, 5-2) later this week.Hes such a key piece of what we are offensively, Iowa State coach Matt Campbell said. Hes a guy thats eclectic in his talents...were only starting what we can do with Joel Lanning. The opportunities are endless down the road. When Campbell took over at Iowa State 11 months ago, Lanning appeared to be the one sure thing he had.Lanning took over as the starter midway through last season and put up solid numbers, completing 59 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns, three interceptions and 330 yards rushing. Lanning displayed athleticism and a strong arm in 2015, but he was also plagued by bouts of inaccuracy.Heading into this season, Lanning was the unquestioned starter. But after throwing two ugly picks in the opener and then playing poorly in a 42-3 loss to Iowa, the coaching staff began to use sophomore bbackup Jacob Park -- a more natural passer -- in selected series. Air Max 95 Clearance Canada. y the end of October, Park had emerged as Iowa States top quarterback. But the coaching staff knew Lanning had too much talent to simply sit on the sidelines and they found ways to use that ability to jumpstart an inconsistent offense.Lanning acknowledged the change wasnt easy to do so.I just tried to be a bigger person and not let those little things affect me. At the end of the day, Im a captain on this team, and I cant let my situation affect the rest of the team. Ive got to stick up for my team. Ive got to lead these guys, Lanning said. Im going to do whatever I can to turn this program around. I came here for a reason. If Lanning and Park can stay healthy and make strides in the offseason, Iowa State could enter 2017 with one of the best quarterback situations in the Big 12.The two have combined for over 2,600 yards passing with 22 TDs and eight interceptions this season, and Lanning (1,247 yards passing) has rushed for over 500 yards with 11 touchdowns.Such a rotation wont work again unless both players have bought in, and Lanning said Monday that he intends to return in 2017 despite knowing that he could likely start elsewhere as a graduate transfer.Joel wants to be great ... and he wants to do it here, Campbell said. The thing I love about Joel Lanning is how much this program means to him, and his ability to lead this team, as hes done even through some rough patches.---More college football at www.collegefootball.ap.org ' ' '
RIO DE JANEIRO -- After escaping a blanket ban from the Olympics, Russia was kicked out of the upcoming Paralympics on Sunday as the ultimate punishment for the state running a doping operation that polluted sports by prioritizing medals over morals. Cheap Nike Lunar .Paralympic leaders expelled one of its most significant members as the IOC announced that 278 Russians have been given clearance to compete at the Olympics after their eligibility in Rio de Janeiro was left to individual sports.Russias years of doping deception, including tampering with samples at the 2014 Olympics and Paralympics in Sochi, were outlined last month by World Anti-Doping Agency investigator Richard McLaren. The facts really do hurt, IPC president Philip Craven said. They are an unprecedented attack on every clean athlete who competes in sport. The anti-doping system in Russia is broken, corrupted and entirely compromised. In contrast to IOC president Thomas Bach, who opposed the nuclear option of banning Russia ahead of Fridays Olympic opening ceremony, Craven directly condemned the Russian states involvement in doping but stopped short of blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin.Tragically, this situation is not about athletes cheating a system, but about a state-run system that is cheating the athletes, Craven said. The doping culture that is polluting Russian sport stems from the Russian government and has now been uncovered in not one, but two independent reports commissioned by the World Anti-Doping Agency. While expressing sympathy for the clean athletes who will suffer by missing out on the chance to compete, Craven denounced Russia for still not complying with anti-doping rules.I believe the Russian government has catastrophically failed its Para athletes, Craven said. Their medals over morals mentality disgusts me.Russia finished second in the medal standings at the 2012 London Paralympics and had 267 athlete slots for Rio in 18 sports, which will now be filled in September only if an appeal is successful.Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko said banning Russia from the Paralympics means a large number of athletes will suffer -- disabled people. We will fight for our Paralympians, Mutko, who the IOC banned from attending the Olympics, told the Tass news agency.Mikhail Terentyev, head of the Russian Paralympic Committee, said the IPC decision was a huge injustice. The Paralympic Games without Russians are Games in a cut-down form, Terentyev told Tass. Our team is one of the best in the world, and its results are proof. We were first at the Games in 2014 and second at the Games in London. What the IPC is doing is a breach of all possible rights of clean athletes. The Paralympic movement is anticipating further evidence of positive tests being covered up that McLaren did not uncover in his initial 76-day investigation. The IPC said it has evidence of manipulated doping tests relating to 44 athletes, including 27 from samples from competitors in eight sports that are part of the Paralympic program. It shows a blatant disregard for the health and well-being of athletes and, quite simply, has no place in Paralympic sport, Craven said. Their thirst for glory at all costs has severely damaged the integrity and image of all sport.Unlike the IOC, which doesnt run any sports federations, the IPC does govern some disciplines. There are clearly very, very different circumstances from them to us, IOC spokesman Mark Adams said. HOUSTON -- Mark Appel received high praise from MLB commissioner Bud Selig on Wednesday when the No. Nike Air Max Cz . 1 overall pick signed with the Houston Astros. Speaking at a MLB diversity business summit at a convention near Minute Maid Park, Selig praised Houstons rebuilding efforts. He then likened Appel, a right-handed pitcher, and Houstons 2012 No. 1 pick, shortstop Carlos Correa, to two of the franchises greatest stars, Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell. "The Astros are on their way to building the foundation that every club needs for sustained success and I believe this club has the right people in place to execute their very sound plan that is going to bring winning baseball back to the fans of Houston," Selig said. "I look forward to the day when players like Carlos Correa and a hometown pitcher Mark Appel ... will be among those who form a new core as successful as Bagwell and Biggio were for so many years." Appel, a polished and well-spoken Stanford graduate, was left speechless when told of the commissioners remarks. "Thats, uh, its very nice words that he said," he said, shaking his head. "Just hearing that comparison is pretty special, especially being a hometown Houston guy. Bagwell and Biggio were two of my favourite players and knowing that Bud Selig sees me and Carlos Correa as potentially the next Bagwell and Biggio is exciting." Terms were not disclosed but Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow said it was "the most significant investment" the Astros have ever made in an amateur player. The 21-year-old Appel was 10-4 with four complete games and a 2.12 ERA this season. He had 130 strikeouts in 106.1 innings pitched and allowed opponents a .203 batting average. Appel is an Astros fan who grew up in West Houston before moving to California at the age of 12. The Astros had a chance to draft him last year but instead went with the 17-year-old Correa from Puerto Rico. Appel slid to Pittsburgh at No. 8 last year but turned down a $3.8 million offer and returned to Stanford for his senior season. Appel said when he rejected the Pirates, he wasnt thinking about potentially being drafted by Houston this season. When it happened, he could barely believe how well everything worked out. "Growing up in Houston I came to games at the Astrodome and at Minute Maid," he said. "That was the dream. It was every kids dream to play for your home team and now its a reality. Its still surreal. I dont think its sunk in." The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Appel will be a welcome addition to the hard-luck Astros with his mid-90s (mph) fastball, nasty slider and improving changeup. "Drafting and signing Mark Appel was a top priority for our organization this year," Luhnow said. "We are an organization focused on winning championships in the future and we expect Mark to be a big part of that effort." Astros amateur scouting director Mike Elias raved about Appel and believes he will be a key piece in turning around this franchise which has lost 100 games in back-to-back seasons. "This is what we believe is going to be a high-impact addition to our organization," Elias said. "He is someone who has the potential to be a front-line starting pitcher for a very long time." Luhnow said that Appel will report to Houstons spring training facility in Florida next week and that hell likely begin his professional career at short A Tri-City. He expects him to then move to Single-A Quad Cities and possibly Double-A Corpus Christi by the end of the season. He said he will be at major league camp next season, but that he wasnt sure when he could be pitching in Houston. "Its too early to speculate on timelines," Luhnow said. "We need to get him out there and get him pitching." Kde Koupit Levne Nike Air Max . Former Rangers owner Craig Whyte is now the only person currently facing charges over the alleged fraudulent acquisition of the club after charges against several other men were formally dismissed. Cheap Air Max 270 Canada . Whyte appeared alone in the dock at the High Court in Glasgow during a procedural hearing and the case was continued until July 29.Whyte was originally charged with four other men of conspiring to acquire and obtain by fraud a majority and controlling stake in the shareholding of the club. The court heard proceedings have been dropped against Paul Clark and David Whitehouse, who were appointed joint administrators of Rangers in February 2012 and attended Fridays hearing.Charges have also been dismissed against two others, Gary Withey and David Grier.A statement issued on behalf of Mr Whitehouse and Mr Clark said: From the outset, both have emphatically denied all allegations of criminal conduct against them.At a hearing in February, the Crown finally accepted the defence position in relation to the majority of the charges brought against the administrators. The remaining two charges were then dismissed by the court. Since then, the defence has repeatedly asked the Crown to confirm that the case against David Whitehouse and Paul Clark is at an end. That has at last been confirmed. This brings the proceedings against David Whitehouse and Paul Clark to an end. David Whitehouse and Paul Clark are relieved at the outcome. They are grateful to their families, friends, colleagues and legal teams for their support during a very difficult period. They will now be considering what further steps might be open to them to address the damage caused to their reputations and careers by a prosecution which should never have been brought.A Crown Office spokesman said: The Crown can confirm that proceedings are no longer live against Mr Clark and Mr Whitehouse. Many who have followed Tony Romo closely will tell you the Dallas Cowboys quarterback gets a bad rap. Theyll say his reputation for making the killer mistake is outdated and overblown. They have a point, but only to a point. As Romo recovers from his latest injury, I keep flashing back to what a veteran coach said several weeks ago as we watched video of the plays that left the Cowboys QB with serious injuries in previous seasons. The coach kept imploring Romo to get rid of the football as these plays unfolded on the video monitor. Just throw it, Tony!Coaches agree that Romo is exceptionally savvy and resourceful, but they also know he has a hard time giving up on plays, and that leads to mistakes and injuries that hurt his team. Its why Romo was going to headline this column about the most debated quarterbacks from my 2016 QB Tiers survey, even before his latest mishap. Although a few QBs such as Jay Cutler and Eli Manning generrated multiple votes across more than two tiers, the arguments surrounding Romo and Cam Newton were fresher and more compelling. Romo got one first-tier vote, 34 second-tier votes and seven third-tier votes.Harshest criticisms: A QB coach said Romo plays every play as though the Cowboys are down six points in the final two minutes with no timeouts remaining, a mindset that puts Dallas in difficult situations. This coach cited as a prime example the way Romo played while tossing two pick-sixes in the first half of a Thanksgiving Day defeat to Carolina last season. ' ' '
Got a question on rule clarification, comments on rule enforcements or some memorable NHL stories? Kerry wants to answer your emails at cmonref@tsn. Wholesale Air Max Plus China .ca! Mr. Fraser, Have a question concerning the New York Rangers vs. Washington Capitals in Game 6 Sunday. In the third period, an incident with Mike Green and Derek Dorsett happened where Green crosschecked him in the mouth. Clearly bleeding, why was four mins not assessed to Green? And then as Dorsett was skating to the bench with one glove on, he gets hacked by a Capitals player (dont know who) in the foot and trips him with the trailing ref right in front of him watching the entire play happen! Any clarification you can give on this? Thanks. Love your thread. Randy Wolcott --- Id like to hear your comments on the slewfoot non-call on Derek Dorsett in Game 6 of the Caps/Rangers series on Sunday. I do not debate the penalty to Mike Green, as that call was the right one. What I dispute is the lack of call on Dorsett in the seconds leading up to the Green penalty.  See Rule 52 and watch the replays of the incident! Thanks,Andrew PangArlington, VA --- You have to help me understand why Greens cross check to the face is not a major and why there is no subsequent league review/action. When you review the replay and look at Green you quite easily see it is a direct shot to the head with intent to cause harm. We talk about getting this stuff out of the game! I think the call here and lack of league action speaks otherwise. Rob Andrews Randy, Andrew and Rob: Thank you for the excellent questions each of you provide as a result of the attempted slew-foot by Derek Dorsett and the subsequent cross-check by Mike Green to the face of Dorsett. I will provide the answers to your question one frame at a time (video link). First rule 52 slew-footing is the act of a player using his leg or foot to knock or kick an opponents feet from under him, or pushes and opponents upper body backward with an arm or elbow, and at the same time with a forward motion of his leg, knocks or kicks the opponents feet from under him, causing him to fall violently to the ice. Derek Dorsett chased Mike Green for a loose puck at the half-wall with back and right side body position to Green who had the lead lane. In an effort to make contact Dorsett extended his left leg behind Greens right leg while applying upper body pressure with his hands and stick in a push motion (vs backward motion) causing Green to accelerate into the boards in an awkward, straight-up manner. There was no reverse/backward pressure exerted by Dorsett and the fact that Green did not fall "violently to the ice" as a result of the significant leg to leg contact might have been prevented by the close proximity to the boards where contact was initiated. Dorsett was in fact the player that lost his balance and fell hard to the ice. These factors prevent the Referee from assessing a match penalty under the definition of rule 52 which is the only prescribed penalty the Ref can apply.  Dorsett was not clear of any wrongdoing however given the manner in which he took Green into the boards from behind. As the play finished Dorsett could certainly be deemed guilty of a minor infraction for boarding. The cross-check delivered directly to the face of Dorsett by Mike Green on the other hand was done in retaliation for this attempted slew-foot. A time delay resulted from the hit into the boards following which Green turned his body toward Dorsett who had gotten up off his back onto his knees.  As such Dorsett was in a vulnerable position with his face exposed directly in front of the enraged Washington defenceman. This reasonable time delay escalates the poor decision Mike Green made to deliver a cross-check to the face of Dorsett from a reflex, spontaneous reaction to a deliberate strike with intent on his opponent who was in a vulnerable and defenseless position.  While the severity of the blow to the mouth of Dorsett was not sufficient to fall into the match penalty category, it is beyond a minor infraction (time delay) and definitely worthy of a major penalty and automatic game misconduct under rule 59—cross-checking. This lack of "excessive force" would also be taken into account by the Player Safety Committee in determining that no further action should be taken against Mike Green. Randy, there is no provision for a four minute penalty in the cross-checking rule like we see in the high-sticking rule when an injury results. Derek Dorsett was on his knees and aside from Greens action being a distinct cross-check motion, based on Dorsetts posture at the time high-sticking would seldom be considered by the Referee.  Mike Ribeiros convenient stick placement in the skates of Derek Dorsett was "cheap" but not something that needed to be addressed at that time in the game as Dorsett was proceeding to his bench with no stick in his hand and holding his mouth. My take on the play at the time it happened remains unchanged. Mike Green would receive a major and automatic game misconduct for cross-checking while Derek Dorsett a minor penalty for boarding. The teams would play 4 on 4 for two minutes at which point the NY Rangers would receive a 3 minute power-play for the balance of the major penalty to Green. Game 6 provided outstanding entertainment value with great hits, speed and terrific goaltending by both teams. Game 7 broadcast on TSN tonight should be a real dandy. Finals MVP LeBron James will not exercise his player option with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2016-17 season, according to his agent, Rich Paul.James, who had to inform the Cavs of his decision by Wednesday at midnight, will become a free agent July 1 for the third straight summer.?He was slated to earn $24 million next season.Though he has opted out, James can re-sign with the Cavaliers and said last week he has no intentions of leaving Cleveland again.I love it here in Cleveland. I have no intentions of leaving, James told ESPNs Dave McMenamin during the Cavaliers championship parade. There are some technicalities to take care of Ill leave up to my agent. Thats right from the horses mouth. On Tuesday night, however, Paul gave no insight into what type of contract his client would eventually sign with the Cavs or what the timetable is for his expected return to Cleveland.James, who turns 32 at the end of December, completed the second season of his return to Cleveland by leading the Cavaliers to an NBA title. He was unanimously voted MVP of the Finals after averaging 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists with an effective field goal percentage of 53.3. He became the third player to record a triple-double in Game 7 of the Finals, joining Jerry West in 1969 and James Worthy in 88.Best player on the planet, Cavs teammate Kyrie Irving said afterward.James previously won consecutive Finals MVPs in 2012 and 13, when he won his first two titles with the Miami Heat.During the 2015-16 regular season, James averaged 25.3 points for the second straight season but also 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists.Despite a coaching change that saw Tyronn Lue replace David Blatt during the season, the Cavs finished with the best record in the East and lost just two games en route to claiming the conference championship and earning a rematch with the Warriors in the Finals.During that run, James appeared to enjoy seeing the growth of the Cavaliers Big Three, comprising himself, Irving and Kevin Love. Now with teams set to spend with the salary cap rising to a reported $94 million, Jammes dips his Nikes back into a free agency pool that includes Kevin Durant. Cheap Air Max Plus Wholesale. And again, James will have a major impact on the balance of power in the NBA and could sign a deal that would give him a max salary of roughly $30 million. If James takes another one-year contract from the Cavs, he would make $27.5 million for next season. This is because the Cavs dont have salary-cap space and dont have James full Bird rights, which limits the size of the raise he can get.He certainly will be looking to maximize his best chance to win a championship. While the Cavaliers have Love, Irving and Tristan Thompson under long-term contracts, role players Richard Jefferson and Timofey Mozgov are unrestricted free agents, and?J.R. Smith exercised an option to become a free agent. Matthew Dellavedova is a restricted free agent.James said during the Finals that he and the Cavaliers have learned quite a bit during their second stint together.I dont think anyone was prepared for me returning and understanding what the situation was going to entail, James said when asked how prepared Irving was for his role to change with James back in the fold two years ago. I mean, thats everyone here. You know, they had gone through some losing seasons in my previous stint before I came back, so they knew they were getting a pretty good basketball player and a great leader and a good person, and someone that was going to command excellence. But I dont know if they understood the day-to-day process of being in this situation was going to entail, James said. So its been a learning experience for everyone thats been a part of it to this point, and including myself. Ive actually learned some things as well about the guys and about how to be patient with younger guys and things of that nature. But if I could look at the first day I returned to now, our floor general, Kyrie, has become such a great leader.Information from ESPNs Ohm Youngmisuk was used in this report. ' ' '

EDMONTON -- Their offensive output was awfully watered down to start the game, but the B.C. Lions found a way to fight through it. Quarterback Travis Lulay passed for a pair of third-quarter touchdowns as the Lions came away with a 17-3 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos on a rain-soaked Saturday night. The Lions, who trailed 3-1 at the half, won their second game in a row to improve to 2-1. "We just slugged it out and stayed patient," Lulay said. "We had two well-executed drives in the third quarter, and that was the difference. It wasnt easy in those conditions. The first half was just ugly. It was tough to get things going. Its easy to get frustrated after a one-point half. But we stuck to it and showed a lot of will. The defence played lights out. It was a good character win, especially on the road." Lions receiver Andrew Harris, who scored B.C.s second touchdown, said the heavy thunderstorm was a hard thing to overcome. "It was a monsoon out there," he said. "It was tough to focus on what was going on in the game because you were so worried about ball security and trying to stay dry. We just stuck at it. Were a mature team and we kept composed. It was just about executing when the opportunities were there." The Eskimos (1-2) sit four points behind the undefeated Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFLs West Division. "It felt like things were going pretty positive in the first half, but we lost our edge in the second half," said Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly, who served as Lulays backup in B.C. last season. "We still have a lot to work on. When you lose like this, you have a lot of tape of things to work on." There was a very slow start to the game as both teams struggled to gain any ground during a torrential downpour rivalling the intensity of the storm that plagued the Eskimos game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Guelph, Ont., last weekend. Edmonton finally got on the board with four minutes to play in the opening quarter on a 32-yard field goal by Grant Shaw. It took another full quarter for another play of note to occur as the rain continued unabated throughout the first half. The Eskimos Rennie Curran was able to block a Hugh ONeill punt with four minutes left in the second frame and Edmonton took over on downs at the B.C. 32-yard line. However, holder Kerry Joseph had the ball slip through his hands on the resulting field goal snap and it remained a 3-0 game. Cheap Authentic Jordan 11. The Lions put together their best drive to that point in the game in the final couple minutes of the first half, setting up a 31-yard field goal attempt by ONeill. The wet weather would strike again, though, as the snap was bobbled and ONeill was forced to punt it into the end zone for a single to make it seem more like a hockey score at 3-1 before both teams gratefully scurried into the dressing rooms at the half. Edmonton had just four first downs and 71 yards in net offence in the first half, while B.C. had five first downs and 99 yards net. Even though the downpour continued, the Lions put up the first significant points of the match just under five minutes into the third quarter as Lulay hit Emmanuel Arceneaux for a 12-yard touchdown pass to surge ahead 8-3. B.C. continued to take control of the game with another TD drive that was capped off when Eskimo defenders T.J Hill and Joe Burnett collided, allowing Harris to take a Lulay pass 16 yards into the end zone for a 15-3 advantage. The rain let up significantly for the start of the fourth quarter, but the offence dried up again as well. The only scoring in the final frame came when Edmonton conceded a safety with five minutes left. The two teams will meet again next Saturday in Vancouver.
